National Parks Mountain E-cycle

Summary

This is a 6-day self-guided e-cycling adventure on Montenegro’s most beautiful mountains.

The adventure will take you to several national parks featuring breath-taking peaks, mountains plateaus and pastures, forests and lakes. You will travel along hidden away and unfrequented roads through incredible nature that very few have experienced cycling!

You will set off by passing through the incredible Mountain Range Komovi, going along several 2000+ meter peaks. You will journey to Bjelasica Mountain and descend to Biogradska Gora National Park. The national park is home to one of Europe’s oldest forests and a glacial lake that will leave you in awe.

Furthermore, you will ascend Sinjajevina Mountain and cycle over Europe’s largest pasture. We will also take you through the heart of Durmitor National Park, with its countless towering mountain peaks, all the way to Piva Nature Park and its magical mountain plateau, enormous lake and abyssal river canyons.

As it’s a self-guided tour, you are responsible for getting between point A and B each day. We will take care of all of the logistics for you. We provide you GPS tracks of the route, carry your luggage and arrange your accommodation and food, and offer 24 h support along the journey.

Do not miss an opportunity to cycle through breathing nature where cycling tourism is still unknown!

Itinerary

During the tour with us, your accommodation will be in clean and comfortable B&Bs, guesthouses and hotels. You will either share a twin, triple or a double room. Most of the rooms are en-suite, however, there may be some nights where your room isn’t en-suite (sole occupancy of a double has guaranteed en-suite).
The tour covers approximately 250 km over 6 days of cycling, with a number of challenging ascents that are made significantly easier using e-bikes.
All the breakfasts and lunches are included. Lunches will be provided in a cafe, restaurant or as picnic. Evening meals can be bought at your accommodation or in a nearby restaurant.

  • I went on the komarnica packraft tour with Gigo. Amazing experience! The river is a hidden gem in Montenegro. Not very accessible but once you are there, the nature is so wonderful! I never packrafted on a Whitewater river before, but Gigo gave great explanations and safety measures. 100% recommend!

  • Gigo is very knowledgeable, offers excellent customer service, is punctual, offers tailored trips, gear is in great shape. If it was up to us he would well and truely deserve the Montenegrin business awarded of the year. We hope to come back.
