Answers to some common questions

Transportation

At present we operate a 9-seat van and a 7-seat 4×4 car, which we alternate depending on the group size and the adventure location.

What to bring

You will most commonly need hiking shoes, appropriate clothing, refillable water bottle, head torch as well as sun and insect protection.

Accomodation

Mainly in hotels, motels, lodges or tents – see individual adventures for details. Whenever possible we choose places that minimise travel time to nearby sites and activities.

Pre-adventure arrangements with one of our team, a private ME guide that takes care of every detail of the trip (except for day tours) including the the airport pickup and drop-off, accommodation and the adventure logistics, most meals and snacks (varies by adventure), any entrance fees to parks or fishing permits. We have no hidden extra charges!

We specialise in small group adventures. Small groups allow for experiencing nature in an intimate way and make bonding with us and other adventure participants easier. So, unless booked for a private group, our tours do not exceed 8 and are most commonly tailored for 2-4 persons.

We have 3 difficulty levels:

  • Beginner does not require previous experience of the activity nor a particular fitness level.
  • Intermediate often requires some experience of the activity and physically fit individuals.
  • Advanced adventures are suited for those who commonly partake in similar activities.

Please note that regardless of the difficulty level indicated, our adventures are tailored for active, nature-loving individuals. If you have an injury, illness or disability, then please disclose this in your first enquiry and we can advise if the adventure chosen is suitable for you.

At present we operate a 9-seat van and a 7-seat 4×4 car, which we alternate depending on the group size and the adventure location. In either case, you will travel comfortably, with plenty of room for you and your luggage.

Depending on the adventure you chose and our availability, your guide could be Gigo, Adam, Heather or any combination of the 3. We do not outsource!

  • I went on the komarnica packraft tour with Gigo. Amazing experience! The river is a hidden gem in Montenegro. Not very accessible but once you are there, the nature is so wonderful! I never packrafted on a Whitewater river before, but Gigo gave great explanations and safety measures. 100% recommend!

  • Gigo is very knowledgeable, offers excellent customer service, is punctual, offers tailored trips, gear is in great shape. If it was up to us he would well and truely deserve the Montenegrin business awarded of the year. We hope to come back.

  • Our 4-day kayak expedition along Albania's Vjosa River surpassed expectations, blending 100 kilometers of paddling with stunning landscapes and unforgettable camping experiences.
