Super Active - Tara & Durmitor

After breakfast, we’ll set off on a guided e-bike tour along the scenic trails of Durmitor National Park. This journey allows you to fully connect with nature as we ride through lush forests and pass by scenic viewpoints and mountain meadows. At midday, we’ll break for lunch at a scenic spot where you’ll savor local cuisine with panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. Refreshed, we’ll continue through Durmitor’s stunning flora until reaching our endpoint, where we’ll enjoy a final refreshment before returning to our accommodations.

Day 3 brings us to the thrilling highlight of our tour: packrafting on the Tara River. After breakfast, we’ll embark on a 30-minute drive to our launching point. Once there, each participant will be equipped with all necessary gear, and our experienced guides will provide a safety briefing. As we navigate the river, you’ll get to test your paddling skills on rapids while also soaking in views of Europe’s deepest canyon. We’ll pass under the iconic Djurdjevica Tara Bridge, and halfway down, we’ll stop for a snack and, for the adventurous, a swim or a cliff jump. At the finish, transportation will be ready to take us back to our hotel.

On Day 4, prepare to experience Montenegro’s landscapes from a bird’s-eye view on an unforgettable paragliding tour. With the towering peaks of Durmitor as our backdrop, you’ll glide above the mountains, gaining a unique view of the famed “mountain eyes”—five glacial lakes that dot the landscape. This once-in-a-lifetime experience reveals Montenegro’s beauty from an entirely new perspective.

We begin our hiking adventure at Crno Lake, the most iconic lake in Zabljak. The trail winds through fragrant coniferous forests and follows the Mill Streams path to Lokvice Katun, where we’ll take our first break and refresh ourselves at one of the area’s crystal-clear mountain springs. Our hike continues along the mountainside, leading us to Terzin Bogaz Peak at an elevation of 2,303 meters. This 13-kilometer, round-trip hike offers spectacular views of Durmitor National Park’s diverse landscapes and is perfect for capturing memorable photos. With a total elevation gain of 1,000 meters, the hike is moderately challenging and takes around 8-10 hours to complete.

On our final day, we’ll tackle the Pirlitor Cliff, situated on the edge of the Tara Canyon, just 8 km from Zabljak. This spot offers routes for climbers of all levels. For beginners, the east side has six routes, each about 10 meters high and graded between 3 to 4+ on the French scale. Those seeking more of a challenge can try the west side, with 14 routes reaching up to 30 meters in height and rated between 5b and 7b+. Our guides will be with you every step of the way to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

On the last day, after breakfast, we will take you back to Podgorica. It’s an approximately a 3 hour drive from the camp. If you are staying longer in Montenegro you can always join us on another adventure.
